Description of the preparation:
I really do not like when cooking rice recipes boils down to cooking pilaf. But you can cook so much delicious with rice, it just goes well with any vegetables, sometimes I cook it in the oven with frozen vegetables, sometimes I cook and separately prepare delicious meat sauce. I have this recipe not so long ago, but I have already managed to love it. Both thighs and rice are delicious here, so you should definitely try it!
Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Fry the chicken thighs in a pan in a small amount of vegetable oil, salt and pepper to taste. Fry until golden brown.
Finely chop the garlic and onion, chop the pepper into a small cube or straw.
Sauté the onion with garlic and pepper in vegetable oil for several minutes. I have an electric hob, so I fry on it directly in a glass form, in which I will bake.
Add rice, mix and let it fry for a couple of minutes.
Pour in the broth, salt, add spices, simmer for 5-6 minutes, until about half the liquid is absorbed.
Rice is half ready, can be removed from the heat.
Put chicken thighs on top of the rice.
Cover the mold with a lid (if the mold is without a lid, tighten with several layers of foil) and send to the oven (temperature 200 degrees). Bake until rice is cooked.
Rice is ready. In the oven, I baked for about 25 minutes and added another 100 ml. water.
