Description of preparation:
Potato "Boulanger" – a dish of French cuisine. But it is being prepared quite simply, as it may seem from the full-fledged name. The whole secret of cooking is baking potatoes with milk with the addition of butter. The potato is tender and tasty. The creamy aroma of such a dish will gather your whole family at the table.
Prepare the Boulanger potato roasting ingredients.
Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.
Lubricate the baking dish with butter and spread evenly half the portion of the potatoes.
Add salt and pepper to taste to taste.
Peel the onion and cut it into thin circles.
Put the onions on top of the potatoes.
Repeat the potato layer again and add spices to taste.
Pour the potatoes with hot milk, but so that the liquid does not reach the edge. When baking, milk will rise and may escape. Top the potatoes with the melted butter that you have left.
Cover the potatoes with foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake the potatoes for another 10-15 minutes until the desired crust appears.
