Description of the preparation:
I admit, I tried a lot of chocolate biscuits in my time, but this one was perfect for me! The sponge cake is porous, tender, moderately moist, has a wonderful rich chocolate flavor and an airy texture. It is especially good in cakes, but can also be used as an independent dessert.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Add sugar and beat with a mixer for about 7-10 minutes. The mass should increase in volume several times.
Then add boiling water and vegetable oil. Beat everything together again.
Add flour, cocoa, vanillin and baking powder.
We do not use the mixer at this stage. Mix dry ingredients with a spatula by folding method.
Grease a baking dish with oil. Sprinkle the bottom and sides with flour and pour the dough. I cook in a slow cooker on the “Baking” mode for 1 hour, but you can bake a biscuit in the oven. Cook in an oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. The smaller the diameter of the mold, the longer the baking time will be. Readiness check with a wooden skewer.
Lush chocolate sponge cake is ready. Allow it to cool slightly, and then gently remove and cool completely on the grill.
