Below I will tell you in more detail how to cook falafel with bulgur. There are two main rules for preparing the perfect falafel: do not boil chickpeas and do not add flour to the minced meat! Adjust the ratio of chickpeas and bulgur to your taste. Parsley can be replaced with fresh cilantro. Serving falafel in pita or on a plate with fresh vegetables is very tasty.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Soak the chickpeas for 8 hours. Then rinse and dry.
Cook the bulgur over low heat for 15-20 minutes, until it completely absorbs water.
Grind chickpeas, bulgur, garlic, onions and herbs in a meat grinder. Add salt, coriander and black pepper to taste.
Make walnut-sized balls of minced meat.
Sauté the falafel in oil until golden brown.
