Description of the preparation:
All lovers of lecho and bell pepper blanks will appreciate the great taste of this appetizer, which is prepared according to the recipe for the Bulgarian lecho "Globus". It’s not difficult to cook, sterilization is not required, a lot is obtained, so “for work”. How to cook the Globe lecho is described in detail in a step-by-step recipe.
Prepare the ingredients.
Rinse the tomatoes well, remove the stalks, cut into pieces, peel the onions and cut into pieces, add 1 hot pepper, twist it all through a meat grinder.
Put the tomato-onion mass in a pan with a thick bottom, a volume of at least 5 liters, put on a small fire, simmer for 1 hour.
While stewing the tomatoes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Stir the carrots in a pan, adding a small amount of vegetable oil from the total for 10 minutes.
Peel bell pepper and cut into strips.
Add carrots to the tomato-onion mass.
Put the bell pepper, add salt, sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil and bay leaf, simmer 15 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Prepare jars, rinse well and sterilize in any way. Lay the cans hot on the banks, after which they should be closed with sterilized lids, turned upside down, covered with something warm and left to cool completely.
Lecho turned out to be bright, beautiful, fragrant with a pleasant piquant taste. From this amount of products, approximately 4 liters of lecho are obtained.
