Braised hake with onions and carrots

A fragrant hake with vegetables in sweet and sour sauce will appeal to many fish lovers. The dish is light and very tasty. Serve it with fresh bread, mashed potatoes or just boiled potatoes. According to this recipe, you can cook any large fish.
Prepare the ingredients for the hake.
Peel, wash and chop the carrots and onions arbitrarily. Put in a pan with a thick bottom.
Pour in sunflower oil and fry for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomato paste.
Pour 200 ml. water, add salt, sugar and pepper, mix the sauce.
Clean, gut and wash the hake.
Cut into pieces.
Roll each slice in flour and put in a saucepan with sauce.
Add bay leaf.
Cover the pan and simmer the hake with vegetables over low heat for 20 minutes.
Stewed hake with vegetables ready. Serve for lunch or dinner.
