Shortbread (rectangular) – 35 pieces;
milk – 700 ml;
sugar – 1 cup;
egg yolks – 4 pieces;
wheat flour – 2 tbsp. without top;
vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.

You can make a delicious cake without baking. For this we need cookies and custard. Cookies will suit any shortbread: tea, coffee, strawberry or baked milk. Adjust the amount of sugar in the cream to your taste. According to this recipe, the cream is moderately sweet. Have a nice tea party!

Prepare all the necessary products.

Combine cooled yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar and flour in a bowl. Carefully rub in a homogeneous mass.

Bring 6 ml of milk to the boil and pour in a thin stream into the egg mass, stirring constantly. Stir thoroughly to avoid lumps.

Pour the milk-egg mixture into a non-stick or aluminum saucepan and set on medium heat. Stirring continuously, bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer the cream, stirring to the thickness you need. Cool it down.

Warm up the remaining 100 ml of milk. Completely lower each cookie into milk for 3-4 seconds. During this time, the cookies are soaked with milk, but do not have time to soak. Leave three cookies dry to decorate the cake.

Spread milk-soaked biscuits on a flat dish or tray in two rows of four in each row.

Cover the cookies with a layer of cooled cream.

Alternate layers of cookies and cream.

Saturate the top layer and sides of the cake with cream.

Crush the remaining three cookies into crumb and sprinkle the cake. Send the finished cake in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Ready delicious cake from biscuit with custard
