Chicken weighing about 1.3 kg – 1 pc.
Olive oil – 2 tbsp. l
Apple cider vinegar – ½ stack
Honey – ⅓ stack.
Dried mint – 1 pinch
Raisin – 1 tbsp. l
Salt – 1 tsp.
1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash the chicken, remove excess fat, pat dry with paper towels.
2. Rub chicken with olive oil and then salt. You can rub a little black pepper or a mixture of spices for chicken. Transfer the chicken to a heat-resistant baking dish and send it to the oven, preheated to 180ºC. Chicken cooking time depends on the chicken itself and its weight. If you use a homemade chicken weighing up to 1.5 kg, then you have to bake it for at least an hour, and I advise you to pour about 100 ml of water into the form. Shop chicken cook 40–50 minutes. To check the readiness of the chicken, pierce the breast: if the juice is clear and the meat itself is white, then the chicken is ready.
3. While the chicken is baking, prepare the sauce. To do this, mix apple cider vinegar, honey, dried mint, 1 tbsp. l olive oil and a handful of raisins. All this is poured into a saucepan and cook over low heat until the raisins swell and the sauce thickens. The sauce is ready.
4. Pour the finished chicken honey sauce. Put the raisins on top. Serve hot with any side dish.
