– chicken legs – 4 pcs. (you can hip, breast);
– onion – 1 pc .;
– morkov – 1 pc .;
– Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc .;
– Tomato – 1 pc .;
– green peas – 1 jar;
– corn – 1 jar;
– garbage – 2 cloves;
– rice – 1 glass;
– water / broth – 1.5-2 cups;
– salt, spices – to taste;
– vegetable oil for frying.
Defrost chicken, rub with salt and spices.
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chicken drumsticks in it until golden brown, then put it on a plate and leave for a while.
Chop the onion and grate the carrots.
Pepper cut into cubes.
Cut the tomato into small pieces.
Garlic skip through a press or chop finely.
In the same oil in which the chicken was fried, fry the onions to transparency and carrots. Then add pepper and tomato, garlic. Stew all vegetables for 5 minutes.
Next, pour water or broth to the vegetables, and then pour the rice. Mix well, salt. Boil. Stew on medium heat for 25-30 minutes (focus on rice readiness).
Drain water from peas and corn, and add 7 minutes to readiness to add rice and other vegetables. Stir periodically so that the rice does not burn. Add liquid as necessary. Check if there is enough salt.
At the end, put the chicken on top of the rice and vegetables, cover everything and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes.
It turns out very beautiful, fragrant and hearty dish.
