Air fried pies


– 2.5 glasses of water
– 1 cup sour cream
– 1 tablespoon dry yeast
– 1.5 tablespoons of salt
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– flour (about 1 kg or a little more)

For the filling (as an option):
– boiled potatoes
– 1 fried onion
– some ground black pepper

Also required:
– cooking oil for frying
– garlic optional
– dry / fresh greens on request


Cook potatoes. While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the dough. When all the ingredients are ready, it remains only to make the pies and fry them.

Flour (for the beginning 3 glasses) for the yeast dough must be sifted in order to saturate it with oxygen. We add warm water and dry yeast to it. Leave for 10 minutes.

Add sour cream, salt and sugar to the dough.

Now adding flour, knead the dough. We leave near the heat to rise.

In the meantime, we are preparing stuffing from boiled potatoes, fried onions and black pepper.

The dough is divided into balls.

We crush each ball into a cake, send a spoonful of stuffing inside, pinch the edges, and flatten the pie in our hands to a thickness of 1 cm (so that the filling does not tear the dough).

Pies fry in vegetable oil from two sides on moderate heat.

Ready-made cakes can be sprinkled with dry / fresh greens, and pour garlic.
