1. Lenten fried Chinese rice


Cooked rice – 200 g
Frozen or canned corn – 80 g
Frozen or canned peas – 80 g
Olive oil – 1-2 tbsp. l
Garlic – 2 cloves
Onions – 0.5 pcs.
Carrots – 1 pc.
Soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l


1. Boil rice in salted water.
2. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan, add finely chopped garlic and onions, diced carrots and fry on medium heat for about 2 minutes.
3. Add peas and corn, cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Add rice, soy sauce and keep on fire for another 3 minutes. Serve hot.

2. Mexican rice


Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l
Long grain rice – 1 stack.
Sliced ​​onions – 1 pc.
Crushed garlic – 2 cloves
Water – 1.5 stack.
Bouillon cube – 1 pc.
Tomato – 1 pc.
Jalapeno Peppers – 1 pc.
Ground Cumin – 1 tsp.
Salt – to taste
Ground pepper – to taste
Chopped cilantro – 2 tbsp. l


1. Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the washed rice and fry for 5 minutes.
2. Add finely chopped onion and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
3. Dissolve the bouillon cube with hot water. Add the broth to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
4. Add peeled and diced tomato, jalapeno seedlessly sliced ​​in half, crushed garlic, cumin, salt and pepper.
5. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, stir the rice with a fork and add chopped coriander.
6. Remove pepper and garlic. The finished dish immediately serve.

3. Fried rice with mushrooms and vegetables


Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l
Crushed garlic – 1 tsp.
Sliced ​​Peppers, Fresh or Frozen – 150 g
Frozen broccoli florets – 1 handful
Frozen Sliced ​​Mushrooms – 1 Handful
Boiled rice – 150 g
Beaten egg – 1 pc.
Soy sauce – to taste
Salt – to taste
Ground pepper – to taste


1. Heat the oil in a wok or pan over high heat. Add garlic and stir.
2. Add the peppers, mushrooms and broccoli, fry for 3 minutes or until the pepper is soft. Add rice, fry for 3-4 minutes.
3. Make a recess in the center of the rice and add an egg. Cook for 1 minute, then stir the egg into the rice.
4. Salt and pepper to taste, put on plates. Sprinkle with soy sauce and serve.

4. Lean pilaf with pumpkin and dried fruit


Long grain rice – 300 g
Vegetable oil – 100 ml
Onions – 2 pcs.
Carrots – 2 pcs.
Garlic – 0.5 pcs.
Pumpkin Pulp 250 g
Coarse salt to taste
Raisin – 1 handful
Chopped dried apricots – 1 handful
Barberry – to taste
Turmeric – to taste
Zira – to taste


1. Wash rice in cool water until transparent.
2. Onion cut into half rings, carrots cut into thin cubes, and pumpkin into cubes.
3. In a cauldron or saucepan with a thick bottom, fry the onions to transparency in the heated oil.
4. Add carrots, salt and sprinkle with spices. Simmer under cover on low heat for 10 minutes.
5. Put a pumpkin on top with whole cloves of garlic and dried fruit. Spread the rice evenly on top, salt it. Cover with water so that the liquid covers 1–1.5 cm of rice.
6. Cover the cauldron with a lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the water is completely absorbed in fig. 7. Put the fast pilaf on plates and serve.
