Watermelon in syrup for the winter

Syrupy watermelons are a good winter snack. How nice it is to feast on summer berries in the cold season. It is very simple to prepare a blank. Use cloves and allspice for flavor. Add citric acid to the jars so that the watermelons stand all winter.
Prepare all ingredients.
Cut the watermelon into small triangles.
Put the spices on the bottom of the sterilized jar – allspice and cloves.
Add citric acid.
Place the pieces of watermelon in jars. If it does not fit well, you can cut the edges into triangles.
Pour boiling water over the watermelons, leave for 15 minutes, covered with a lid.
Then pour the liquid into a bowl or saucepan. The water is already slightly colored by the juice of the watermelons.
Add sugar and boil the syrup. Add some salt as well. Boil.
Pour the syrup over the watermelons and roll up the lids. Turn it upside down so nothing leaks.
Store caviar in a dark and cool place. Exit – one can of 1 liter. Enjoy your meal!
