Turkey meatballs with gravy

Meatballs are one of the most popular dishes on our dining tables, along with cutlets. Turkey meatballs are dietary and suitable for baby food. Pour the side dish with a delicious sour cream sauce. A simple and delicious dish. If you do not like garlic and basil, then they can be excluded and limited to salt.
Prepare the ingredients for making meatballs.
Place the minced turkey in a bowl. Add the egg. Pour the loaf with cold, boiled water and squeeze out after 5 minutes. Peel and wash the onion and garlic. Pass the loaf, onion and garlic through a meat grinder. Add salt and dried basil.
Stir the meatballs thoroughly.
Prepare the gravy. Peel and wash the carrots and one onion. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. Place in a deep skillet or deep pan.
Pour in sunflower oil, 2-3 tablespoons of broth or water. Cover and simmer the vegetables for 5-7 minutes until the onions are transparent.
Add salt to taste, sugar and flour.
Add sour cream.
Pour in 300-350 ml. water and stir the gravy well.
Form the minced meat into round balls. Place the meatballs in a saucepan with gravy. Add bay leaves.
Cover the saucepan and simmer the meatballs and gravy for 25-30 minutes until cooked over medium heat.
Turkey meatballs with gravy are ready. Serve with mashed potatoes, porridge, pasta, vegetables.
