Description of the preparation:
Cooking "Tourist Breakfast" with rice is possible not only for the winter. Use this salad as a simple side dish or as a main dish on fasting days. Tasty both in hot and chilled form. Many housewives use this appetizer as the basis for borscht or pickle. In any case, if the salad is not prepared for the winter, then just do not add vinegar. I recommend storing such a blank in a cool place – in the basement or in the refrigerator.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Dice the onion. Grate the carrots.
Add oil to vegetables and cook in a saucepan or cauldron until soft.
Add washed rice and tomatoes. Peel the tomatoes and cut them into cubes.
Continue cooking all together for 15 minutes.
Add chopped bell peppers.
Add salt, sugar and continue to simmer occasionally stirring for another 30-40 minutes. At the very end, add vinegar. "Tourist Breakfast" with rice is ready.
Put the salad in sterilized jars, roll up, turn upside down, wrap and leave to cool completely.
I got 1 can of 800 ml. and a little more was left for trial. Successful blanks!
