More details on how to cook tomatoes with celery for the winter will be described below. Choose fleshy tomatoes with a thick skin, these are best preserved intact. For taste, in a jar, you can still add a sheet of currant and an umbrella of dill.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Put bay leaf, garlic and pepper at the bottom of a clean, sterilized jar.
Next lay the tomatoes and celery, sliced in medium sized slices. Pour boiling water over the vegetables and leave for 15-30 minutes.
Drain the water into the pan. Add sugar and salt, bring to a boil. Pour in the vinegar and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour the vegetables with the resulting marinade. Cover, flip the jar and wrap in a kitchen towel. Leave to cool completely.
Tomatoes with celery are ready for the winter, bon appetit!
