Tea for colds: berry, ginger, on herbs

Is it cold and damp outside? This means that the period of active colds is in full swing. But do not immediately run to the pharmacy for medicines, make a better cup of healthy tea. This is both prevention and assistance to the body in the fight against viruses. But the most important thing is that it is really delicious! One has only to show a little imagination.

We have prepared a selection of recipes in which everyone will find a hot drink to their liking.

Raspberry mint tea

If we talk about the ideal berry for tea – this is raspberry. It is healthy, flavorful and delicious. Add it with mint, and you get a wonderful drink that can be consumed not only hot, but also cold.

Ingredients:

  • Fresh or frozen raspberries – 50-60 grams;
  • Mint – a couple of twigs;
  • Water – 1/2 L;
  • Tea – 1 tbsp. l
  • Sugar or honey to taste.

Wash and dry the mint and raspberries, send to the teapot. Add tea, black or green, and sugar (honey) to taste. Pour boiling water and leave for 5 minutes, so that it is well brewed.

Rosehip tea with honey

If you have dried rosehip berries at your fingertips – this is a real find! Tea based on them is surprisingly useful. And if you drink it for prevention, you can avoid frequent colds not only for adults, but also for children.

Essential Ingredients:

  • Dried rosehip – 3 tbsp. l .;
  • Water – 300 ml;
  • Honey – 1 tbsp. l

Such tea is best brewed not in a mug or teapot, but in a thermos. To begin, pour boiling water over a thermos. After put the rosehip there and fill it with hot water. Close and let stand for 1.5-2 hours. Then pour the finished tea into a cup, add honey and, if desired, a slice of lemon.

This bright berry is not only beautiful, but also very useful. Tea based on sea buckthorn can be brewed both black and green. The drink is fragrant and delicious.

Prepare:

  • Sea buckthorn – 100 grams;
  • Sugar – 1-2 tbsp. l .;
  • Tea – 1 tsp;
  • Water – 600 ml.

Wash the berries thoroughly and dry a little. You can use both fresh and frozen sea buckthorn for tea. Combine with sugar and mash in mashed potatoes. Send tea, sea buckthorn and pour boiling water into the teapot. Let it brew for 5-6 minutes. Add orange or lemon juice to taste.

This is a classic that always works. The maximum content of vitamin C in such a drink will help you withstand any cold. A fragrant cinnamon stick will add a twist.

We will need:

  • Lemon – 5-6 slices;
  • Ginger – 1 piece (about 1.5 cm);
  • Cinnamon stick – 2 pcs.;
  • Tea – 1 tbsp. l .;
  • Water –1/2 L;
  • Honey or sugar to taste.

Bring the water to a boil first. Meanwhile, slice the lemon and peeled ginger root. Combine tea, ginger, lemon and cinnamon in a teapot. Pour boiling water and leave to insist for 3-5 minutes. Before serving, add honey or sugar to taste.

Linden tea with honey

Lime tea

Dried linden inflorescences will be an excellent alternative to antipyretics for colds. A cup of such tea will alleviate weakness and even help in the fight against cough.

Essential Ingredients:

  • Dried linden – 4 pinches;
  • Honey – 1 tbsp. l .;
  • Water – 500 ml;
  • Lemon – 1-2 slices (optional).

Put dried linden in a teapot and pour boiling water over it. Leave on for 5 minutes. After strain, add lemon and honey. Natural healthy drink is ready.

In addition to linden, tea with chamomile, oak bark, marshmallow and licorice root, and dandelion can be used for colds.

Make fruit tea! Juicy bright pomegranate will be an excellent basis for a hot restorative drink.

Take:

  • Pomegranate – 1 pc. (small);
  • Water – 500 ml;
  • Sugar – to taste;
  • Ginger and lemon are optional.

To begin, peel the pomegranate peel and white films. Mash the grains slightly so that they allow enough juice. Pour boiling pomegranate. Add peeled and sliced ​​ginger and lemon, if desired. Add sugar or replace it with honey. After 5 minutes, strain the tea and try what happened.

Similarly, you can make tea with peach or orange, it will be very healthy.

Green tea with turmeric, cloves and cinnamon

For lovers of aromatic and spicy drinks I want to offer another original option.

Ingredients:

  • Green tea – 1 tbsp. l .;
  • Water – 300 ml;
  • Coconut milk – 200 ml;
  • Ginger – 1 piece;
  • Clove – 2 pcs.;
  • Cinnamon – 1 pinch;
  • Turmeric – 1 pinch;
  • Honey to taste.

In a small teapot, brew green tea, pouring boiling water over it. Peel a small piece of ginger root and grate it on a fine grater. Bring coconut milk to a boil. Put ginger in it, add turmeric, cloves and cinnamon. Simmer for 3–4 minutes to let the spices reveal all their flavors. Strain the milk gently through a fine sieve and combine with tea. Add honey to taste and serve the drink to the table.
