The biscuit is a fairly simple baked product. And the main thing here is to beat the whites correctly so that the cake turns out to be airy and fluffy. Cooking chocolate glaze will take you just a few minutes. Such a biscuit is perfect for tea drinking in a narrow family circle or with guests.
Prepare the ingredients for making the chocolate iced sponge cake.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whisk the whites into a stiff foam.
Then gradually add 180 grams of sugar, beating without stopping.
Toss the yolks with the whites and sugar.
Add baking powder and gradually add the sifted flour.
Use a spatula to gently stir the biscuit dough.
Place the dough in a baking dish. I have a multicooker bowl. But you can bake a biscuit in a regular oven.
In the multicooker, cook the biscuit in the "Bake" mode for one hour. Bake in the oven at 160-165 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Check readiness with a dry stick.
Prepare the chocolate frosting. Put sugar, cocoa powder, butter in a saucepan with a thick bottom. Pour in milk.
Stir constantly over low heat until the glaze thickens. This will take a few minutes. After the glaze, cool to room temperature.
Cover the biscuit with the prepared chocolate icing.
Decorate to taste. I sprinkled with grated white chocolate.
