Shortcrust pastry is prepared very quickly. You can grate the butter, stir with other foods, or you can melt it in the microwave or in a water bath – both methods are good. For savory baked goods, remove the sugar from the ingredients list.
Prepare the indicated ingredients.
Put the butter in a deep bowl without any silvery or golden patterns and melt in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes.
Pour salt, sugar into the butter, beat in a chicken egg, mix thoroughly. Then add more yolk. There is no need to add protein, otherwise the dough will turn out to be porous, it will swell up when baked. If you want to create an even base, you can simply add only the yolks.
Add wheat flour. Do not add baking powder! You can add some vanilla sugar.
Knead a firm shortbread dough. Place the container with the dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes, covered with cling film, so that the oil from the dough is compacted.
After the indicated time, the dough is completely ready for baking.
