Description of preparation:
Thin dough and a lot of filling, such pastries will certainly be to your taste. You can cook a shortcake with cabbage as an independent dish or for a snack. Serve both in warm and in a cooled form. Please your loved ones with fragrant and hearty home-made cakes.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Combine flour and butter in a deep bowl. Add 1-2 pinches of salt.
Grind everything with your hands to the state of crumbs.
Add sour cream and collect the dough into a bowl. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Chop the cabbage and fry with onions until tender. Salt and pepper the filling to taste.
Combine eggs and cream to fill. Add a pinch of salt and whisk everything.
Take out the dough and distribute it in a greased form, forming high sides with your hands. Pour the dough with a fork and put in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
To the cooled cabbage, add grated cheese, chopped herbs and mix.
Transfer cabbage stuffing to a still hot base from shortcrust pastry. Without pressing, pour the fill on top. Bake at the same temperature for another 20 minutes.
Shortcake with cabbage is ready.
