Description of the preparation:
Sea buckthorn compote will help restore strength in the autumn-winter and spring, when the body is especially lacking in vitamins. You can harvest such a compote not only from one sea-buckthorn, but also combine it with other berries or fruits. I indicated the number of ingredients in one liter jar. If you have a larger jar, then increase the ingredients accordingly.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Peel the berries from leaves and twigs and rinse well.
Arrange the berries in sterilized jars, filling them about 1/3.
Pour boiling water over the berries, cover the jars with lids and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
Then drain the water, add sugar and stir to a boil.
Pour the berries with the resulting syrup and tighten the jars with sterile lids. Turn the cans upside down, wrap and leave to cool, then store the finished compote of sea buckthorn in a cool place.
