Salad with pickled onions and ham
Cooking description:
Thanks to pickling, the bitter taste of onions is not felt in the taste of the dish, so even children will be happy to eat the salad. If you are preparing a dish for the holiday, you can mix all the cuts in advance and store them in the refrigerator, refueling only before serving.
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Purchase quality ham or make it yourself.
Peel the onions, rinse and cut into half rings. Place in a deep bowl and pour in apple cider vinegar or 6% vinegar.
In a separate deep bowl, beat a chicken egg with water, a pinch of salt and flour.
Preheat a skillet and fry the egg pancakes in it, pouring out about half of the beaten egg mass and frying the pancakes for a minute on each side. Then let them cool for 5 minutes.
Cut the ham into cubes and pour the slices into a salad bowl or deep plate.
Cut the pickled cucumbers into the same cubes, cutting off the tails. Let the slices sit for 5 minutes to let the brine stand out and drain. Add the slices to the sausage container.
Squeeze the onion from the marinade and add to the container.
Roll the cooled pancakes into a roll and cut into ribbons, add slicing to the rest of the ingredients. Top with mayonnaise, salt and pepper the dish. Mix gently.
Place the salad on a plate and serve, garnished with fresh herbs.
