If you roll the compote for the winter, then you must keep it in a cool and dark place. This recipe makes a 1 liter jar. If you want to roll it up more for the winter, then increase the proportions in the amount you need.
Prepare your ingredients.
Pour water into the ladle.
Wash the rose hips and place them in a bucket.
Cook the compote for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it stand for the same amount.
Pour the compote carefully into a clean 1 liter jar.
Roll up the jar with a metal lid using a special key.
