Description of the preparation:
Cooking rice with sauerkraut and meat is quite simple, and all the ingredients are likely to be found in any kitchen. You can use any meat, I have beef.
Prepare all the ingredients.
Cut the meat into small pieces and transfer to a cauldron or any other dishes with a thick bottom.
Add vegetable oil, salt to taste and fry the meat until light golden brown.
Add diced onions and grated carrots.
Mix everything and add your favorite spices.
Sauté the vegetables until soft and add the sauerkraut squeezed from the juice. If the cabbage is very acidic, then you can first rinse it under cold water.
Fry everything together for 5-7 minutes.
Then add the washed rice.
Spread the rice evenly (do not mix). Pour in hot water. Water should be about 1 cm above the cereal. Add salt to taste, cover the cauldron with a lid and simmer over low heat until rice is cooked.
At the end, mix all the ingredients. Rice with sauerkraut and meat is ready.
