The salad is very tasty, quite hearty, light and healthy. In summer, a large amount of fragrant greens is added to it – green or purple basil, tarragon, parsley, garlic is sometimes found, but extremely rarely.
Prepare your ingredients. Wash a ripe tomato with herbs, dry.
Let's prepare a salad dressing. To do this, chop the leaves of mint and cilantro very finely, put them in a deep bowl, add hops-suneli. In the summer, fresh basil and tarragon are added to this dressing.
Grind the walnuts with a pestle in a mortar, transfer to the herbs, pour in vinegar and oil, and also add salt and ground black pepper. Stir the dressing.
Cut the tomatoes and cheese into thin slices, place in a circle on a flat dish, alternating between them. In summer, use the aromatic Mikado tomatoes.
Spread the dressing evenly, sprinkle some more oil, a little pepper. Place fresh cilantro leaves in the center. In some restaurants, the salad is also sprinkled with grated Parmesan.
Serve the prepared salad immediately after cooking. An excellent appetizer for a glass of dry white wine. Bon Appetit!
