Making Romanoff potatoes is very simple. The process will not take much time, because the dish is baked in the oven. Basically, this is a potato casserole that is both filling and tender at the same time. For cooking, you can take both portioned forms and one common one. Onions can be pre-fried in butter, and in addition to ground pepper, add any other spices to taste.
Prepare all ingredients.
Grate potatoes on a coarse grater.
To prevent the potatoes from darkening, add the sour cream immediately and stir.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, leave a little for the top, add the rest to the potatoes.
Add the grated onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything well.
Put the potatoes in slides in greased forms (without crushing or leveling, the mass will settle by itself during the baking process). Bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees for about 40-50 minutes. Focus on the softness of the potato.
Sprinkle the grated cheese that you had set aside 10-15 minutes before cooking.
Romanoff potatoes are ready. Enjoy your meal!
