The amount of ready-made jam will depend on how much you want to boil the jam, I like thick, so I cooked until dark, stirring constantly so that the jam does not burn, it turned out 5 jars of 250 ml. I photographed it hot, so it didn't work out to convey the density, but in winter I will definitely share with you photos of the finished thick dessert, like jelly!
Prepare the plums and sugar; you won't need water for this recipe. Go through the fruits, wash.
Remove the seeds from the plums, I have a variety in which the stone is not removed well, so I just cut it out with a knife.
Twist the plums with a meat grinder, put on the finest wire rack.
Add sugar, stir.
Boil the plum jam until you want it thick, I cooked it for 40 minutes.
Pour hot jam into sterile jars and tighten the lids. Wrap in a blanket and leave to cool for a day.
