Pies "On the contrary" are when there is little dough and a lot of filling. I offer this recipe to all lovers of homemade baking. Knead the dough from flour, water, vegetable oil, salt and sugar. Then roll out thinly and wrap with the filling in the form of a tube. Do not spare the fillings. I made the cabbage filling. You can use potatoes or meat for the filling, whichever you prefer. Cabbage is my favorite. The pies are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Prepare all ingredients.
Sift flour into a deep bowl, add salt and a little sugar, pour in plain clean water.
Pour in vegetable oil.
Knead an elastic, elastic dough, it should not stick to your hands. Leave to rest for 15 minutes, covered with a towel.
Chop the cabbage for the filling.
Dice the onion and grate the carrots.
Fry cabbage with vegetables in vegetable oil. Fry for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally over medium heat. Season to taste.
Add tomato sauce to the cabbage, it will give the filling additional flavor and juiciness.
Simmer cabbage with tomato sauce for another 3-4 minutes over low heat and the filling is ready. Cool the cabbage.
Divide the dough into small pieces and roll into balls.
Roll each ball thinly into an elongated rectangular cake.
Put 2-2.5 tbsp on the edge of the dough. cabbage filling.
Roll the pies into a tube, turning inward the edges.
In this way, blind all the pies and put them on a baking sheet.
Bake the pies in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees, until a golden crust appears.
Cool the finished pies a little and serve. Enjoy your meal!
