Pie "Snail" from puff pastry

Pie “Snail” looks very impressive due to its original shape. You can make such a pie with any filling, both sweet and savory. I have a “Snail” pie made from puff pastry with minced meat. You can make a pie with mushrooms, baked vegetables, or with fresh or frozen fruits, jam. Try, experiment and have fun!
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Pre-remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator so that it has time to defrost and become soft, so that it is easy to roll out.

Finely chop the onion and put in a pan with warmed vegetable oil.

When the onion becomes soft, send the minced meat to it and fry, stirring frequently, until half-cooked. Salt to taste and add your favorite spices. Stuffing the meat should be carefully and often so that as a result it turns out to be as crumbly as possible.

Stuffing is ready, let's do the test. I have dough in the form of oblong sheets, so I rolled them out and cut them lengthwise to make long plates about 5 cm wide. If you have square sheets, also roll them out and cut them into strips 5 cm wide.

Put fried minced meat on each strip, fasten the edges of the strips to make a kind of tube.

Now put the tubes in a round baking dish, oiled, starting from the middle, in the form of a snail.

Lubricate the cake with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake the cake in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on your dough and oven.
