Prepare the ingredients.
Dissolve salt, sugar, and yeast in warm milk.
Add melted butter to the milk mixture.

To prepare the “shtreisel” (sprinkled with flour, sugar and butter), mix 80 grams of chilled butter, diced, 130 grams of sugar and 100 grams of flour. Hands grind the flour mixture into small crumbs, put in the refrigerator until use.
During fermentation, the dough will increase in size by about 2 times.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts weighing about 80 grams. Roll them into a ball. Cover with foil and leave alone for 5-7 minutes.
Roll the dough into a thin cake the size of the diameter of the baking dish; pour the shtrezel onto one half.
Cover with the second half of the cakes, pour the shtrezel on top.
Put the apple filling in the form of "triangles" on both sides.
Roll the cake to the center, in the form of two "horns".
Put the dough pieces in a mold with a diameter of 25-27 cm, greased with butter and lightly sprinkled with flour. Provide proofing 40-50 minutes.
Grease the cake before baking with the rest of the egg.
Bake the cake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer; when baking, it should remain dry.
