For the preparation of this conservation, you can use absolutely any variety of pears. Most importantly, they should not be overripe. To make it convenient to put the fruit in a jar, it is better to cut them in half.
Prepare your ingredients.

Wash the pears, cut them in half. Remove the ponytails and cut out the second edge.

Place prepared pears tightly into jars. For the specified number of pears, 2 cans of 1 liter are enough.

Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar.

Add citric acid there.

Bring the syrup to a boil and pour over the pears.

Now cover the jars with lids and roll them up tightly with the special key. Store pears in a dark and cool place.
