Pickled mackerel with onions and vinegar

To prepare such marinated fish, you should use 9% vinegar. If you opted for acetic acid, then be sure to dilute it with water according to the instructions. For the convenience of marinating fish, use a container with a lid.
Prepare your ingredients.

Peel the mackerel, remove the entrails, head and tail. Wash and cut it into pieces.

Add sugar and salt to the water.

Pour in vinegar and vegetable oil. Stir.

Put onions on the mackerel, cut them into half rings, bay leaves and peppercorns.

Now pour the marinade over the fish.

Refrigerate fish for 1-2 days.
