Prepare all ingredients.

Wash cucumbers thoroughly, soak in cool water for 2-3 hours.

Then cut off the ends of the cucumbers.

Wash the gooseberries, sort out, remove the tails and twigs.

Pre-wash the jars with soda and sterilize. Put all the spices and the peeled garlic clove on the bottom.

Then place the cucumbers tightly into the jar.

Fill the empty space with gooseberries. Pour hot water into the jar, cover and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt. Bring to a boil and add vinegar at the end.

Pour the marinade into the jar again, pour into the jars. Turn the jar upside down and leave to cool completely.
