Pepper in its own juice for the winter

Cooking description:

Use any shade of sweet bell pepper for this recipe. Well, when the yellow and red colors alternate, the appetizer will turn out to be brighter and more appetizing. The recipe is very simple and is designed for one small can. It is convenient to count and roll up. Feel free to double the portion and harvest this pepper for the winter.

Prepare all ingredients.

Rinse the bell peppers, grease it with oil on all sides. It is convenient to pour oil on clean hands, and brush the pepper with your hands.

Place the peppers on a baking sheet or wire rack and bake in the oven until golden brown and soft. It will take about 25-30 minutes.

Put the spices on the bottom of a 0.5 liter jar: peppercorns, bay leaf and pieces of peeled garlic.

Without peeling the baked peppers, fold them tightly into the jar.

Sprinkle salt on top.

Add sugar.

Pour in vinegar. If there is room left in the jar, pour in a couple of tablespoons of boiling water.

Roll up the jar with a lid, shake and turn upside down to dissolve the salt and sugar. Cover the jar with a warm blanket and let cool completely.

Store in a dark pantry or cellar. Exit – one can of 0.5 liters. Bon Appetit!
