Pepper in Georgian – a step by step recipe with a photo on

Below I will tell you more about how to cook Georgian peppers. To make the appetizer bright, it is better to use bell peppers of different colors. You can add a little bitter pepper if desired for a spicy taste. From greens, you can take cilantro, parsley or basil. Take note of the recipe, Georgian pepper is great for almost any dish!

Prepare all ingredients.

Wash the pepper, peel the seeds, remove the tail. Cut into large slices. Pass the garlic through a press, finely chop the greens.

Pour in vegetable oil, add sugar, salt and all the spices, mix. Leave for at least 1 hour for the peppers to juice.

Transfer the peppers to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the temperature, simmer covered for 15-17 minutes, stirring occasionally.

At the end, pour in the vinegar, stir. Remove from heat.

Arrange in pre-sterilized jars, tighten the lids and wrap in warmth. Leave it until it cools completely.
