I prefer to pre-fry the onions until soft, but can be added to the minced meat and raw.

Cut the sheets of pita bread in half and grease each piece with minced meat.

Wrap the pita bread with minced meat in a roll. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Put the resulting rolls of pita bread into a shape in the form of a snail – start from the center and gradually advance to the edges of the form.

Combine sour cream, eggs and grated hard cheese, add a little salt and ground black pepper. Mix well.

Bake the pita snail in the oven, heated to 200 degrees, for 30-40 minutes. The fill should be baked, and the filling should be fully prepared.
