Choose fresh frozen mussels, add some carrots and onions to the dish, spices can be used to taste. Choose more fat cream, from 20%. Mustard can be any, if you like a brighter spicy aroma and taste, use hot mustard, I also like with honey mustard. Simple and very tasty, take note of the recipe!
Prepare all ingredients.
Peel the onions and carrots, rinse, dry. Cut the carrots into small cubes, cut the onion into half rings.
Remove the mussels from the freezer in advance, defrost.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add onions, carrots. Fry vegetables for 3-4 minutes, then add chopped garlic and mussels, fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour a serving of cream into the pan and add salt and ground pepper.
Add mustard next, stir everything, and simmer mussels for 7 minutes over low heat.
