I must say that this simple and wonderful dish was a discovery for me. You can use millet porridge left over from lunch or dinner for this purpose. But the pancakes are so delicious that I cooked porridge especially for them. Try it, you won't regret it!

Prepare the ingredients for making millet pancakes.

Cook millet porridge. For this, if necessary, sort out the cereals. Then wash thoroughly and place in a saucepan with boiling water. The ratio of water to millet is 3: 1. Salt a little and cook the millet for 20-25 minutes over low heat, stirring until it is completely boiled into porridge. Chill the porridge slightly and place in a bowl.

Add egg, kefir, salt and sugar.

Add baking soda and sifted flour.

Stir all the ingredients to make the millet pancakes. The dough should not be too thick, but not runny either.

Spoon the dough into a hot skillet with refined sunflower oil.
