You can even cook meat nests with cabbage for the festive table. Such a dish will always help out! It turns out satisfying, tasty and a side dish is not needed, and it is prepared quite easily. You can add mushrooms or any seasonal vegetables to the filling, it all depends on your capabilities and preferences. Give it a try!
Prepare all the ingredients.
Dice one onion and fry in a pan until tender.
Add chopped cabbage.
Simmer all together until cooked.
Then add grated boiled eggs, sour cream, salt and ground black pepper.
Mix well. The filling is ready.
To the minced meat, add the second onion, grated on a coarse grater, salt and your favorite spices to taste. Knead the minced meat with your hands well until smooth.
Divide the minced meat into 6 parts, form flat cutlets and give them the sides of the hands. Transfer the meat nests to a greased baking dish.
Put the cabbage filling in the recess. Send the nests into an oven preheated to 180 degrees and cook for 40-50 minutes.
Sprinkle grated cheese over the filling 10-15 minutes before cooking. The meat nests with cabbage are ready.
