Mackerel with potatoes in a slow cooker
Cooking description:
The dish turns out to be dietary, it can be served with fresh vegetables or a salad from them. Or with any sauces, for example – garlic, if you are not on a diet. Pickles, sauerkraut or cucumbers will not be superfluous.
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Defrost mackerel if you purchased frozen fish. Peel the potatoes and rinse in water.
Cut the peeled potatoes into large pieces or cut in half if they are not too large. Place in a multicooker bowl.
Cut off the head and tail of the mackerel, cut the carcass, and remove all entrails. Rinse the carcass thoroughly inside and outside, remove the black hymen inside – it tastes bitter. Rinse and cut into slices. Place them on top of the potatoes in a bowl.
Season with salt and pepper, add bay leaves and warm water. Activate the "Extinguishing" mode on the vehicle board for 45 minutes.
After the specified time, both fish and vegetable cuts will be soft and juicy, perfectly cooked. It is not necessary to stew the dish longer, as there is a risk of overcooking it.
Put the prepared dish on a plate and serve hot, you can add sour cream or other sauces.
