Description of the preparation:
The proposed recipe helps correct the bad taste of herring. I also note that preserves can be prepared from fresh-frozen herring. Thawing previously, increasing the amount of salt to 1 tbsp. and having stood in the refrigerator for 3 days.
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Mill herring (remove all small bones).
Mix vinegar with sugar and salt, set on fire, bring to a boil and cool.
In a saucepan, mix the oil, 1/2 of the indicated amount of coriander and allspice. Put on fire, bring to a boil and remove. Chill.
Take a wide form. It is very important that the herring fits in one layer. Crush the bay leaf to the bottom of the mold. Put the chopped herring (a piece of no more than 40 grams), pouring coriander and allspice.
Pour each chunk with a chilled marinade using a spoon.
Add oil in the same way.
Shake the herring pan slightly to distribute the butter evenly. Close the lid and put in the refrigerator for a day.
Serve herring with onion and aromatic oil. Bon Appetit!
