Hanum with minced meat and potatoes
Description of the preparation:
The filling, as I already said, can be absolutely anything: cabbage, potatoes, meat, pumpkin and even carrots. And despite the fact that khanum and manti are still two different dishes, they are prepared in one way – steamed in a mantle cooker. Khanum is still preparing much easier, due to which he received another name in the common people – lazy manti. So do not be afraid of the cooking process, be sure to try this delicious juicy and fragrant dish!
Prepare all the ingredients.
In a deep bowl, combine the egg, water, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil and 0.5 tsp salt. Shuffle everything with a fork.
Add the flour in parts.
First mix the dough with a spoon.
Then, when it becomes difficult to mix, continue kneading with your hands, while adding the remaining flour. The dough should be firm and elastic. Gather it in a ball, cover, and for now, work on the filling.
Cut potatoes and onions into small cubes. Combine minced meat, onions and potatoes. Add salt, spices to your taste and mix well. The filling is ready.
Lubricate the surface of the table and rolling pin with oil. Roll out the dough in the shape of a rectangle, about 2 ml thick. Lubricate the dough with butter and spread the filling evenly, stepping back slightly from the edges. Then, from two opposite sides, turn the edges to the middle as in the photo.
Then gently begin to roll the roll.
The roll is ready.
Grease the sheet of the pressure cooker with oil and lay the roll seam down in the form of a caramel. I pinch the seam first so that all the juice that will be released during the cooking process does not run away.
We cook steamed roll for about 50 minutes.
Hanum with minced meat and potatoes is ready.
Lubricate the khanum at will with butter and serve with any sauces to taste, complementing the dish with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon Appetit!
