Grape jelly – a step by step recipe with a photo on

Cooking description:

Kissel can be cooked from any grape, but if you want a bright, beautiful color, choose dark varieties. Add sugar depending on the taste of the grapes. I had very sweet seedless grapes. Fragrant, healthy and tasty jelly is suitable for adult children to complete a meal at any time of the day.

To make jelly, take grapes, sugar, starch and water.

Wash the grapes and separate the berries from the branches. Place in a saucepan.

Pour water into a saucepan with grapes.

Add sugar to taste.

Place the pot on the stove. Bring water, grapes and sugar to a boil. Cook for 10-15 minutes and turn off.

Pour starch into a bowl.

Add 50 ml. cold water and stir the starch until completely dissolved in the water.

Bring the decoction of grapes with sugar to a boil again and pour in the starch diluted in water. Stirring constantly, bring the jelly to thicken for a few minutes.

Kissel from grapes is ready. Serve warm or chilled.
