Description of the preparation:
For cooking, use medium and late varieties of cabbage, not too juicy, but dense. If you wish, you can fry it even without adding carrots and onions, but with these vegetables the taste of the dish will only win! Fried cabbage served with baked duck, chicken, pork, etc.
Prepare the indicated ingredients.
Free white cabbage from the top protective leaves. Cut the necessary part from the fork and chop it. This must be done in advance so that the vegetable cutting is not burnt later.
Peel onions and carrots, rinse in water and grate the carrots, and cut half the onions in half rings. Warm the pan with vegetable oil on the stove, reduce the heat to medium and put onion and carrot slices. Sauté until golden brown.
After 3-4 minutes, add the sliced cabbage and salt it immediately, mix. Thanks to salt, cabbage will release juice and immediately become softer.
Fry with stirring for about 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is browned. The heat should not be strong so that the dish does not burn.
Put the finished fried cabbage on a plate and serve warm to the table, you can add sour cream of any fat content.
