Today I want to share a delicious Dutch sunflower seed bread recipe. It is not difficult at all and does not require much time and skills. Follow this step-by-step recipe and take a culinary journey at home.

Prepare your ingredients.

Pour water into a bowl, add sugar, dry yeast, stir, leave for 15 minutes.

Sift flour into a container for kneading dough, add salt, sunflower seeds, mix.

Make a well in the flour, pour in the yeast mixture.

Knead the dough, put it in a ball, put it in a bowl. Cover with a lid and let it ferment for 1.5 hours. If the dough is too thick, you can add a little flour.

Lightly flour the work surface of the table, knead the dough again, roll into the ball again.

Lightly dust the bottom of the bowl with flour, place the dough seam side up, and let it proof for another 1 hour.

While the dough is proving, prepare a baking dish, it should be with a lid. Preheat oven to 230 degrees and place a baking dish in it for 45 minutes.

Place the bread seam side down in a hot pan, cover with a lid. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and bake at that temperature for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 200 degrees and bake for another 35-40 minutes. Observe safety precautions when handling hot dishes.
