Below I will go into more detail on how to make curry buns. For the filling, you can also use soy sprouts, corn, or green peas. Tempura can be substituted with wheat bread crumbs. Choose the amount of curry to your taste, you can use curry paste instead of powder.

Prepare all ingredients.

In a large bowl, combine both flours, salt and sugar.

Add vegetable oil, stir. Dissolve yeast in warm water and pour into a bowl.

Knead the dough until smooth, roll into a ball and store in a warm place for 1 hour.

For the filling, cut the bell peppers, potatoes and onions into small cubes. Grate the carrots, finely chop the ginger and garlic. Fry vegetables for a couple of minutes, cover with water and simmer until soft.

Stir salt, curry powder and flour in water. Pour the mixture into the skillet. Simmer the vegetables over low heat until the mixture thickens.

Divide the risen dough into 8 equal parts.
