Cucumbers with plums for the winter
Cooking description:
Pickled cucumbers with plums for the winter is quite an original appetizer. Plum gives a sweet-sour taste to cucumbers, and the brine is aromatic and beautiful. This preservation is prepared without sterilization, which greatly simplifies the cooking process. The amount of ingredients is given for two liter cans. Delicious, crispy cucumbers go well with meat, fish, poultry, as well as salads and vinaigrette.
Prepare the ingredients for preparing the plum cucumbers for the winter.
Put the washed dill in sterilized jars.
Add the garlic cloves.
Lay out the washed plums.
Wash cucumbers and cover with cold water. Keep in water for 3-4 hours. Then fill the jars with cucumbers.
Then pour boiling water into the jars and let stand for 20 minutes. Then drain the water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil again and pour the water into the jars. Let stand for another 20 minutes.
Drain the water back into the pot and bring to a boil. While the water is boiling, pour salt, sugar and vinegar 9% into the jars. One liter jar will require 1 tablespoon of coarse salt, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vinegar 9%.
For the third time, pour boiling water into the jars, roll up with sterilized lids, wrap them with a blanket and let stand until the jars cool completely. Store canned food in a cool place.
