It's easy to cook cucumbers for a 2 liter jar for the winter, the recipe is very simple, but it turns out delicious! Cucumbers according to this recipe are not only good on their own, they can be added to salads, appetizers or hot dishes. Give it a try!
Prepare all ingredients. Rinse the cucumbers well and soak in cold water for 2 hours.
While the jars and lids are sterilized, cut off the ends of the cucumbers on both sides. Rinse and dry the greens.
Put prepared greens, peppercorns, cloves, peeled cloves of garlic and onions, cut into rings at the bottom of the jar.
Then put the cucumbers in the jar. You can lay them lying or standing, it all depends on their size. Try to keep the cucumbers as close to each other as possible. Pour boiling water over the cucumbers, cover the jar with a lid and leave for 10 minutes.
Pour sugar and salt into a saucepan. Pour in the liquid from the jar and let it boil again. When the brine boils, add the vinegar and immediately pour the boiling brine over the cucumbers. Tighten the jar tightly with metal lids or roll up.
Turn the jar over and check for smudges, then wrap it up with a blanket until it cools completely. Cucumbers for a 2 liter jar are ready for the winter.
