Croissants with nut filling – a step by step recipe with a photo on Povar.ru

Cooking description:

I am sharing a recipe for how to make croissants with nut filling, but you can use any other filling to taste if you wish: boiled condensed milk, chocolate, nutella or any fruit jam. We have a puff pastry, I use yeast, so the recipe is ideal for busy housewives or just help out when guests are on the doorstep.

Prepare all ingredients.

Place the softened butter, nuts, sugar and one yolk in a blender bowl.

Grind everything until smooth. The filling is ready.

Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin. Cut with a knife into triangular segments and place the filling on the wide edge as in the photo.

Cover the filling with dough and press well on both sides, then roll up.

Transfer the formed croissants to a baking sheet lined with parchment. Brush with yolk, sprinkle with sugar and bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees until golden brown.
