This soup is easy and quick to prepare if you have a ready-made broth. The broth can be cooked not only from chicken, but also from beef, pork, turkey. You can make it harder for yourself and make homemade noodles yourself. But why these difficulties, when the store sells good quality noodles. Garlic lovers can add a couple of cloves to the finished soup. A simple, hearty and delicious dish!
Prepare the ingredients for making the Cossack noodle soup.
Cook the broth. Wash the chicken and put in a saucepan, cover with water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and remove foam. In the process of cooking, add any greens to the broth: parsley, dill, basil. Cook until chicken is tender.
Peel the onions, wash and chop finely. Place in a skillet.
Peel, wash and chop the carrots. Can be grated. Add to onions. Saute the onions and carrots in butter for 8-10 minutes.
Then add the chopped tomato and simmer the vegetables for 5-6 minutes.
Pour the chicken stock into a saucepan and add the sautéed onions, carrots and tomato. Boil the soup for 5-6 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the noodles.
Cook the noodles until tender. The cooking time depends on the type of noodle. Mine was cooked for 4-5 minutes.
Cossack noodle soup is ready. When serving, add a slice of boiled chicken and herbs to each plate.
