Description of the preparation:
Crispy shortcrust pastry melts in your mouth – the aroma of baked nuts will be heard not only in the kitchen, so put the kettle on the stove in advance, as relatives will soon begin to resort to hoping to enjoy this dessert. It takes literally half an hour to cook, but you can prepare shortcrust pastry in advance and store it in the refrigerator, in a bag.
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool slightly.
Beat a chicken egg in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and 80 grams of granulated sugar. Beat well for about 1-2 minutes.
Pour the melted butter, add the baking powder and wheat flour. Knead a soft, plastic shortcrust pastry.
Put it on a saucer or plate, cover with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
At this time, pour the walnut kernels into the chopper bowl.
Grind them for about 2-3 minutes. About a crumb, but with small pieces. Pour the remaining sugar and a pinch of salt. Stir – the nut crumbs are ready!
Remove the shortcrust pastry from the refrigerator, roll it into a not very thin layer on the work surface. Sprinkle crumbs on top and lightly walk on it with a rolling pin, but without strong pressure, so that the crumbs imprinted in the dough. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Cut the dough with rhombuses. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay rhombuses on it. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the dessert for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Put the finished walnut cookies on a plate and let it cool to make it crackle.
